This Privacy Policy applies to truxcelacademy.com, TruxCel Academy waitlist and contact features, and the TruxCel mobile app when it is made available. TruxCel Academy and TruxCel are used here to refer to the product and website operated for the TruxCel CDL learning experience.
The TruxCel app is built for CDL learners and drivers. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Information collected on the website
- Waitlist details such as email address, name if provided, state, CDL stage, interests, consent choices, and source page.
- Contact messages and support requests you send to us.
- Basic technical information that hosting, security, and analytics tools may process, such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited, referring page, approximate location, and timestamps.
Information collected in the TruxCel app
- Account and authentication details such as email address, Supabase user ID, session metadata, and account status.
- CDL profile details such as state, license class, endorsements, study preferences, onboarding choices, and profile fields you choose to provide.
- Practice, exam, answer, progress, history, bookmark, resource, and conversation records.
- Aria assistant prompts and responses, dictation audio submitted for transcription, voice-session metadata, and user-selected images or documents when those AI features are used.
- Account deletion requests, AI content reports, usage-limit records, support records, service logs, device/network metadata, and security or diagnostics information.
How information is used
- Operate the website, waitlist, app accounts, CDL study flows, practice history, progress analytics, resources, and support features.
- Provide Aria assistant, dictation, realtime voice, image, and document features when you choose to use them.
- Send launch updates, product notices, CDL resource emails, and support replies when permitted.
- Prevent abuse, protect accounts, troubleshoot issues, enforce usage limits, and improve reliability.
- Prepare accurate Google Play, privacy, account deletion, and Data Safety disclosures.
Service providers
TruxCel uses service providers to run the website and app. Current or planned providers include Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions, Expo/EAS for app build and service operations, Google Gemini for assistant responses, OpenAI transcription for dictation, LiveKit for realtime voice transport, and xAI-hosted voice-agent infrastructure.
These providers process information only as needed for the services they provide, subject to their own terms, policies, and security practices. We do not sell personal information.
AI feature data
When you use Aria or related AI features, your prompts, assistant context, uploaded images or documents, transcripts, and responses may be processed by TruxCel systems and AI providers to deliver the requested feature. AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete, so important licensing, safety, legal, tax, or medical decisions should be verified with official sources or qualified professionals.
Retention and deletion
Website waitlist and contact information is kept as long as needed for launch updates, support, compliance, security, or until you request deletion or opt out where applicable.
App account data is kept while your account is active. If you request account deletion, TruxCel will process deletion or anonymization of account/profile, CDL preferences, practice/exam/progress/history, bookmarks, Aria conversations, AI usage records, voice-session records, and user-owned assistant attachments tied to your account, subject to records we may need to retain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, support history, or transaction records.
Your choices
- Ask for privacy help, access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@truxcelacademy.com.
- Use unsubscribe links or contact us to opt out of marketing emails.
- Use the in-app account deletion path when available, or the public account deletion instructions on this website.
- Control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings.
